Mealtime Ministry Advent.jpg

Mealtime Ministry

We establish a menu, donate food, and come together to create a bountiful feast for about 100 people at the Common Ground Recovery Ministry. Meals are hosted at our partner church, Trinity Lutheran in the city of Reading. We also prepare two open to the public dinners each year to raise funds for the ministry.

Wilson Food Pantry

Advent serves as a donation, collection, and delivery point for the Wilson Food Pantry. This charity provides food for those who struggle to keep their own pantry full. Our congregation collects and delivers soups, canned meats, canned fruits and vegetables, and shelf-stable items to help families in need.

Pre-K Food Drive

Our congregation provides food items to a local pre-k for 3- and 4-year-old children whose families are below the poverty level.
